Lakewood Cabin
Lake Wood Retreat is a unique, rustic cabin experience set on a tranquil 2 acre property at Cultus Lake, nestled between some of the last old growth forest in BC. Some of these towering giants are hundreds of years old and literally right outside your doorstep. Mornings greet you with the kiss of sunlight through your front door and a mesmerizing view of the mountains. Step outside onto your patio into the fresh rich air, sit and relax from your bench as horses roam peacefully in the dewy pasture. Days are filled with all the activities Cultus Lake has to offer; swimming, boating, kayaking , fishing, biking, golf, waterslides, and an amusement park. The Vedder River is minutes away. Mountain hikes offer gleaming vistas of the valley, and forests that beckon you to saunter along paths and bathe in their serenity. French doors from the porch welcome you inside your cozy Lakewood Cabin retreat. The walls are made out of wood logs, creating a rustic comfortable feeling. Lots of windows in the space let in natural light and offer a view of the beautiful surroundings.

The functional and lovely bright kitchen includes a full sized fridge, microwave, convection/toaster oven, dishes and utensils, coffee pot/kettle, coffee/tea/basic amenities, and counter and stools for eating. We offer plastic dishes for outside use if you care to BBQ or have a picnic.

The living space includes a sofa bed for extra guests, TV and Wifi (Netflix, Roku TV, Amazon Prime, and Tubi TV), lots of natural light, local photography, and games tucked in the coffee table which also serves as additional space for eating.
The interior of the cabin is spacious and comfortable with all the conveniences of home yet your get-away will feel like you’re a million miles away. The retractable ladder leading to the loft sleeping space can be “closed” and locked in place when not in use for additional space to move about.

Your loft sleeping space is tucked into the A-frame of the second floor. Two queen sized beds are separated behind their own half walls, and feature either a pasture or forest view with white linens, gold accents, soft robes for your convenience, and black out blinds to offer privacy and a deep relaxing sleep.

Sip your morning coffee on the porch bench and enjoy the serenity of the property. Our cabin is equipped with an outdoor hot water shower to complete your “rustic” experience.

Outside is a private picnic area with a propane BBQ and covered fire pit for your exclusive use during your stay. We include briquettes so you can enjoy a campfire while you’re visiting.
A fully functional bathroom with flush toilet in its own separate building is a short walk away along the path from the cabin.
